For years now both Intel and AMD have been duking it out with trying to gain the upper hand over each other. The market is ran by who can come out if the best processor cheaper than the other. What is your thoughts on AMD and Intel offerings thus far and when should we jump in the ring and upgrade or systems?

I know for me since I build all my machines its the best bang for the buck and if I had to side withone manufacturer I would choose AMD. Just because of there prices and I have yet to have one die or perform unsatisfactory. Would I try a Intel? I just might because the Core2Duo is looking good and its cheap and low on heat.

But i'm not buying until the end of the year in which I will keep you posted on the rig I build.

And whats to come? I hear AMD is going to have a answer for Intel's Core2Duo and QuadCore chips near the end of this year.
