I've seen one episode that had me wondering if the whole thing was set up. It seemed like the guys were acting: borderline phoney reactions and such. Haven't watched it since.

The wife and I watch it every week.... I know we are probably going to stay in the Mt Washington hotel soon. Since it's only 1hr from my house .... see if we can scare ourselves

I think my fave all time line from an EVP came from that particular episode. "Of course I'm here, where are you?" Princess Carolyn has a sense of the ridiculous doesn't she?

That's the episode I was referring too... Mt Washington Hotel is just a short trip for me I have been wanting to stay there for sometime just it was expensive... but knowing it might be haunted that might make it worth the money

Ok, ghost story time. This is my personal experience.

My wife and I stayed at a Bed and Breakfast for a late Valentines Day back in 2001. It was in an old Historic Victorian Manor built in the late 1800s (actually called the Victorian Inn Bed and Breakfast, it's been sold now to a private company for corporate use. Too bad cause we were going to stay in it this year.)

Anyhoo, Sometime during night, I can't tell you when, is when it happened. I am a very light sleeper, especially when things aren't like they are supposed to be. For instance, when we bought our water softner it was timed to recharge at 2am when it was necessary. That sucker woke me up everynight for a month when it recharged until I got used to it. Now I don't hear it anymore. I used to wake up every time one of my kids came into the bedroom during the night, still do sometimes. Sleeping in strange places like hotels, B&B's other peoples houses makes it even worse.
So anyway, sometime during that night sometime between wakefullness and sleep, I saw a woman leaning over the bed looking at me. I dismissed it as the beginnings of a dream. I don't remember what she was wearing or anything like that, but she was pretty, her hair was pulled back and was dark in color although it may have been brown. I wasn't concerned enough to wake up obviously because I don't remember anything else or being afraid or worried or such.
It was the next morning at Breakfast that the hostess told us the history of the house and that some people had claimed seeing a ghost. She asked if anybody had seen anything during the night. I didn't say anything cause I was still convinced it was a dream, brought on by the surroundings and such. Even today I still wonder about it.

According to all the sites talking about Mt. Washington, you have to stay in one of the tower rooms in the summer time to really get much chance of visitation from her.. but it would be so totally worth it to me.

One house we lived in had a little ol gramma ghost.. she would come in the middle of the night and tuck my blankets in all around.. I hate having my blankets tucked in.. used to yell at my mom for doing it.. but she said that she didn't. I also had a ghost kitty who would rub against my legs when I would sit in this one old rocker.

Never witnessed anything but I would sure like too. I guess I am a bit skeptical and would love to be proved wrong. I sure hope there is spirits and somewhere else we go when we die. Regardless of what the bible states it would be just good to know for a FACT that there is something other than emptiness.

This is not a part of it that I don't believe in....I've seen too much and done too much.

So, last night.. and I have a witness, Ann, a friend of mine we call edera, and I were sitting in my living room when the rocker/recliner leaned back and then rocked for a few seconds. Just as if someone were sitting in it. This happens around me a lot. Is it a ghost? A guardian spirit? I dunno for sure cuz it hasn't shown itself.. or is my chair developing a personality?

Cool stuff like that never happens to me
