Re: The ParanormalYes, I believe in the paranormal, and I have experienced several paranormal events in my life, to what I would ascribe to the spiritual realm. Most too personal to discuss in this media. I have also seen something in the sky that was unidentified, and whose flight characteristics did not match any commonly know aircraft.
AdvertisementRe: The ParanormalI had an "out of body" experience once that I believed to be a dream..
Later it was proven true that I was actually in a room that I had never seen before and the furniture, and events, was all placed exactly as I had seen it.. ![]()
Re: The Paranormalsounds like involuntary astral projection.
Those dreams that are just so real its freaky might just be that. I heard a theory once that nobody dreams the way we have been taught we do, that we all can exist on 2 dimensional planes, this one and the astral plane. When we "dream" we are actually all on the astral plane interacting with each other. I don't know if I necessarily believe that, but I'm open minded. ![]()
Re: The ParanormalHmmm that is very interesting... hopefully someday they will improve upon the monitoring of our sleeping patterns and dreams. It would be so sweet to be able to record your dreams and let you review them. Because most of the population dreams and doesn't remember them.
Re: The ParanormalI rarely remember my dreams, so that definitely would be interesting.
Re: The ParanormalWhere to begin... where to begin...
I meditate and have spirit guides . I study and practice a couple of different types of energy healing. I am sure this world/universe/multiverse isn;t at all Newtonian.. I find it hilarious that modern day skeptics think it should behave that way. There think might be a tad outdated...LOL. I like think of our perceptions as filters. Our perception blocks and organizes information about the world around us to insulate us from the informational overload of omniscience. The paranormal is then simply explained as being leaks or flaws in the filters.
Re: The ParanormalAlso, we do dream analysis in our group. I am working on a form to keep bedside for recording dreams, making it easy to write down key observations and preserve the memory of the dream.
Re: The ParanormalI know a couple of people who can do voluntary spontaneous AP, I'm not one of em. I get just so deep into the meditation and I feel my inside slipping free.. and I grab it cuz it freaks me out. however, I've done it in my sleep many times. Had people say they saw me hovering over them at night. (maybe we are all cracked?)
I do Distance Viewing though, it's not always accurate as to finding the person I set out to find, sometimes I end up seeing something from their past or something completely not them. But I'm working on getting it right. Humans use so little of our actual mind that I believe this and so much more is not only possible but plausible.
Re: The ParanormalThose are two things that really interest me, Astral Projection and Distance(Remote) Viewing. I have been researching these for a while now and have seen various techniques and theories. Someday, I'll get brave enough to try.
