Think that covers most of the terms used to describe penis measurements. Now to describe how they are used and possible tools for measuring.
Most men have what they call a 'Fat Pad' which is around the base of the penis and can actually hide up to an inch or more of your penis depending on your weight/size. NBP (Non Bone Pressed) is measuring strictly what you see, BP (Bone Pressed) is actually pushing into your fat pad to you hit your bone and measuring from there (This is the most come practice used and is best for keeping track of progress in PE).
How to measure and possible tools:
Length - You can use a ruler (preferred wood... just because metal could cut you) or any other object that you could easily measure with a ruler or tape measure. Like a wooden dowel (nothing bendable). A wooden dowel is also good because you can mark on it and watch your progress when doing PE. If you are measuring NBP just but the ruler either on the side or on top of the penis and make sure its at the base. Don't push down/inward toward the bone and just make your measurement. If you are measuring BP then do the same as NBP but this time push inward/down into your fat pad until you are on the bone and take that measurement. You can also find out what your fat pad is buy comparing the two measurements.
Girth - Best way to measure girth is a cloth tape measure (they are used for crafts and measuring fabric and can be found in walmart) or use a string or strip of cloth and just mark where they meet/cross and that's your girth measurement. Just line up the string against a ruler and that's your measurement. Usually people measure girth at the base of the penis to almost mid-shaft.
Generally people use two types of measurement values when stating their measurements: inches or centimeters.
1 in = 2.54 cm (so if you see someone's measurements in cm you know how to convert it.)
Measuring this way will always be correct and you cannot lie if someone else is measuring. So keep good notes and happy PE
