Hmmm
So if you open up Internet Explorer you don't have access to your bookmarks in IE? If that's true that is very strange and it doesn't work like that at all. I can have both IE and FF open at the same time surfing th same page or different pages with no issues at all.
I think you might just have some configuration issues. When was the last time you formatted and reinstalled everything on your machine?
This is a good thing to do once a year or so. Reason why is that over time your computer will get heavily bogged down with crap that is left over from installs/uninstalls, registry settings never removed, spyware/adware not getting removed properly. And if you don't run defrag frequently that will effect your performance bigtime especially on old machines and harddrives.
You might want to think about doing this if you have the operating system disks and drivers for your hardward Doc. It will improve your system performance greating. And depending on how old your machine is it might just be worth the $$ to get a newer one. You can get deals on a dell on there website sometimes you can get a new one for about $3-500 dollars which is pretty cheap and you will be good for computing for atleast another 5+ years.

On the issue with the 300+ posts with no responses. It's ok Doc. I have plenty of DB space and some of those posts are informative only really so they really need no response. Plus if you use the search tool and looking for certain info you never know what you can find and maybe resurrect an old post

Some people have different interests so I guess no post is unwanted they just haven't found the right person...
