What's wrong with not having "In god we trust" on a coin or any money???

Our country was founded around religion and it's only been on all of our money since the 1700's

I have yet to be handed this coin as change, but I have bought the mint/proof set because I collect them and this dollar coin will only be produced for the next 7 yrs or so. There are 4 presidents released this year/per year until all the presidents have been covered.

Just a FYI

Proof Set's aren't the issue of course, it's the ones in circulation that need to be done or stopped. Forcing our government to stop changing what works.

I am sure our Founding Fathers are spinning in their graves at the antics of some of our politicians who are currently running for President or have run for President and won.

If I remember correctly, and you guys out there can correct me on this one, the Founding Fathers of our country used the philosophies ot the time, especially those of Hobbs and Locke, as well as ancient Greek and Roman traditions of democracy and republicanism when they built the foundation of this country. I also believe that many of the Founding Fathers were Freemasons: men who had certain moral and metaphysical ideals as well as a belief in a Supreme Being, but the interpretation of the term is subject to the conscience of the candidate / member Freemason and this means that men from a wide range of faiths, including (but not limited to) Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Sikhism, Hinduism, etc.

So, maybe it would have been better if the phrase "In God We Trust" had it been written "In a Supreme Being We Trust," thus implying no particular religion.
